Whether you are a reader or a writer of poetry, this is the place for news and information on readings, workshops and exhibitions in the Wokingham and Berkshire area.

There is a thriving poetry community with monthly readings and weekly workshops. It is the home of Poet's Café which began in a room in The Rising Sun and has now moved to the lovely South Street Theatre and it is the home also of Thin Raft. With a strong connection with literature from those just visiting, such as Charles Dickens, Simon Armitage, Sophie Hannah and Oscar Wilde to local poets Susan Utting, Adrian Blamires and Jean Watkins.
